Austin McCusker to Continue with Forty7 Motorsports in 2019
Austin McCusker will continue his relationship with Forty7 Motorsports in 2019, competing again in the IMSA Prototype Challenge. After a great season with Forty7 Motorsports, McCusker and the team will look to capitalize on what they learned in the previous season to push for the championship in 2019.
McCusker will continue to pilot the #47 Norma LMP3 Prototype in the 2019 season, but will have a new partner racing with him. Rodrigo Pflucker will partner Austin in the #47 after doing 4 of the 6 races last year with Forty7 Motorsports where he moves from the #74 entry.
The season for the IMSA Prototype Challenge will start in early January at The ROAR Before the 24 at Daytona International Speedway. Unlike last year the race will a 3-hour endurance race requiring two pit-stops, rather than the normal one stop.
